Esteros del Iberá

It is called Esteros del Iberá to an extensive wetland covering about 12,000 km², in the province of Currents , 1​ at northeast from Argentina . Only surpassed in extension by the Marshland ( Brazilian , Bolivian and Paraguayan) with which they form the second largest wetland in the world, part of a much more extensive hydrographic system: the Iberá macrosystem, of about 45000 km², in which a ecosystem subtropical and tropical of enormous diversity.

Due to its peculiar geography and difficult access, the area has a rich and varied animal population.
